A sanctuary nestled beneath a sacred mountain.
The Yogini House affords a pleasant haven for the sharings of free thinking folks. We’re into ecological living, organic food, meditation, yoga, dance, expanding consciousness & gardening. All genders welcome.
This is a transformational space.
It’s a sunny house situated on a private half acre. Less than 10 mins walk to Ohakune shops/cafés & the Junction, Tongaririo National Park wilderness walks & rivers, and 20 mins drive from Turoa ski field.
We often have rooms for rent to practitioners of Yogic Arts.
We also provide shelter for spiritual pilgrims who need meditative respite from the demands of consumerism. We offer sanctuary for energy exchange.

About renting a space at the Yogini House :
We do short and long term room rentals, weekend rentals, AirBnB. We have space for small yoga classes, and a therapy room available.
Room rentals :
Various rooms become available for rent. We share a fully equipped kitchen, sitting room, main bathroom with bath, laundry, deck and garden area. The Airbnb guests have their own ensuite, and do not use the other spaces. There is some storage space in the garage.
We are all eco-friendly & into healthy living, including eating organic, so we would appreciate if you are too. It’s a smoke-free environment.
The cost of rent and bills varies according to the season and the room.
Bills are based on the current cost of electricity, gas, wifi and firewood, and are adjusted accordingly. We are planning to go solar soon.
We totally get the need to escape from the busy whirled from time to time, and how challenging this can be. Talk to us about a short personal retreat, it is possible to do an energy exchange.
The energy field we are building at the Yogini House is clear, potent and transformational.
There is a 7m x 4m gathering space, opening into a 4.5m x 3m room, and onto the sunny deck. There are big windows, rimu floors and a large fireplace. Two large canvas tents are available in Summer.
We aim to have fair prices, to be accessible to grassroots transformative events. Contact the Yoginis to discuss (:
